Whether you’re lounging by the pool or hosting a summer party, the Arubai Ariba adds a fun and exotic touch to any occasion.

History of the Aruba Ariba
The Arubai Ariba was created in Aruba as a tribute to the island’s laid-back yet festive atmosphere. The original Aruba Ariba recipe was created by Juan “Jocky” Tromp in July 1963, when he worked from the Aruba Caribbean Resort (where the Hilton is today). It combines local flavors with tropical fruits, ru, and a bit of flair.
The drink gained popularity not just among locals but also among tourists who were drawn to the island’s lively bars and beach resorts. Today, it’s an essential part of any visit to Aruba, often served in vibrant, colorful glasses to match the lively spirit of the Caribbean.
The traditional Aruba Ariba cocktail is made with Coecoei, a liquor made from the sap of the agave plant and is only available in Aruba. As well as having a distinctive taste, Coecoei adds the punch to this cocktail as it is 100 proof alcohol in content.
