Ingredients
  

  • 2 green bananas
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons seasonings of your choice.

Instructions
 

Air Fryer

  • Preheat the Air Fryer – Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Peel the green bananas by cutting off both ends and making a shallow slit along the peel. Remove the skin and slice into thin rounds.
  • Toss banana slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasoning.
  • Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  • Let them cool slightly before enjoying

Oven Baked

  • Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Peel and thinly slice the bananas.
  • Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.
  • Arrange in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy.
  • Allow the chips to cool for extra crunchiness.

Makes 2 servings.
Seasoning suggestions - Try garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, chili powder, allspice, cumin, smoked paprika, or your favorite Caribbean spices like jerk seasoning or green seasoning for extra flavor.
