Peel, core, and cut the breadfruit into chunks. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15–20 minutes. Drain and mash while warm.
In a bowl, combine mashed breadfruit with garlic, onions, parsley, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, chili, mustard and cheese. Add the egg and gluten-free flour. Mix until it forms a firm, moldable dough. If it's too soft, add more flour a tablespoon at a time.
Scoop and roll into small balls (about 1 to 1½ inches in diameter).
Air Fryer
Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray balls with oil and air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Fried
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the balls until golden brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels.
Oven Baked
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, turning once for even browning.
